One of the best emerging showspaces in Boston was broken into and robbed recently. The Dreamhaus in Allston is a collective that has been hosting and putting shows together and helping in a big way to foster a music community around Boston. They lost computers and some other expensive things and could use donations to help make the Dreamhaus a safe place for music again. Also devastating is that the man behind the weird and excellent Philip Seymour Hoffman lost a bunch of recorded material that was on his computer. Even the smallest donation to these folks will help them keep having shows and making music, so contribute if you can.
